Beltestakk, Broad-belt from Telemark

With its characteristic broad belt, this Bunad belongs in the middle of Telemark. The Beltestakk may be found in a wide variety of beautiful colors.

The silver: This Bunad should be decorated with a Bol-brooch and/or a serpent-brooch and/or a barley-ring as the main brooch. A horn-ring and/or barley-ring and/or neck pin and/or neck-buttons (up until 5 different types of brooches on the chest). Cufflinks, eyelets (These being the only ones one may have more of, between 3 to 6 pairs), buckles and a purse clasp. Most choose oxidized silver for the Bunad, but some prefer their silver gilded, a little dark and old fashioned.
