Tysnes lady
Like in the rest of Sunnhordaland it has been big variations in the national costume with local variations of the Hardanger Bunad. Married women use a green waist-piece, while unmarried women use a red one. On cold days you can use a sleeved shirt underneath the waist-piece. Married women use a red sleeved shirt and unmarried use a green one. You can use a "Laske" coat on top of this again if you wish to. The skirt is made of black fabric while the chest-piece and belt is usually made of pearl-embroideries. The shirt and apron are made of white fabric. You can use a headdress with this Bunad.
The silver: On the shirt you use a neck button at the top and a quite big brooch at the chest. The cuffs are held together by silver cufflinks. If you have a pearl-belt you use a circular gilded fastener with leaves. If you have the embroidered belt you use flat gilded fasteners. On the belt you also use gilded silver plaques and circular Bores. A Bunad ring, shoe buckles, a timepiece, a knife and an umbrella completes the Bunad.
