The waist piece on the Nordfjordbunad is laced with a silver chain through 8 simple, cast eyelets. In the neck lining of the shirt there is a neck pin shaped as a double button with rather long pendants. They have pendant dish leaves or cross leaves. Cufflinks and a silvered purse clasp should be included in the costume.

There are many variants of children's Bunads and as a consequence there are a lot of different brooches. Some brooches are specific for a certain type of children's Bunad, while others are more general.

A Bore resembles a big button that have an elevated center. They were early used as buckles both for the waist-piece of the Bunad, and on the belt. Nowadays they can be seen on the Bunad purely for decoration. They decorate both the waist piece (Bore needles) and the belt (Borer). The prices are for a pair.

Rings for the Bunad exist in many varieties. The band is open at the back of the finger so it will fit every finger it's put on.

If there are buttonholes in the collar of the shirt, you can use neck buttons. If your collar lacks holes you should use a neck pin.

A lot of types of Bunad use eyelet chains. It is threaded through the eyelets approximately the same way you would thread a shoelace, and then tightened.

An eyelet in this setting is an ornamental piece that looks great and functions as something to thread the eyelet chain through. Some types of Bunad use eyelets and the chain to make it possible to hold the waist piece together. Other types of Bunad, like the Øst-Telemark Bunad and the Beltestakk only use them as a status symbol and for ornamental purposes. All the prices are for a pair.

Small dishes hanging from the brooch was a common symbol for a girls virginity. Dish brooches were often used as engagement gifts. The more dishes the brooch had, the more the boy appreciated his virgin. (And the more money he had).

In the old days some Bunads used the plaque belt as a sign that the wearer was married. These belts consist of a leather or fabric belt with plaques and a belt buckle connected to it. You can get different types of plaques depending on which Bunad it will be used with. Examples are knife plaques to hang your knife from and purse plaques to hang your purse in. If you prefer it we can assemble the belt for you.

The purse clasp was traditionally sand cast brass, and sometimes gilded or silvered. They also exist in pure silver and some other variations.

Some critics feel that earrings do not belong on a Bunad. Strictly speaking this is correct. Back in time, the earrings were totally useless because the ears were covered with ether hair or a shawl or hat. Nowadays many skip the headgear and feel that it's a bit empty without anything in the ears.

When the silver is to be picked out and the gift certificate to be used, we may easily be reached by phone or e- mail, and we will subtract the given amount of money from your gift certificate.
