Bunad silver East-Agder lady

East-Agder lady

The silver used for this Bunad is similar to the silver of the Telemark Bunad. This comes as no surprise, seen as they live "right next door". But in contrast to Telemark, the silver here should be fair and look brand new, whether it is silver or gilded.

The silver: A Bol-brooch or serpent-brooch as the main brooch, a dish-brooch and/or heart-brooch and/or a neck pin and/or ripple-ring and/or a neck-button (up to 5 different types of brooches on the waist piece) ,cufflinks, eyelets (One may have more of these, between 3 to 6 pairs) eyelet chain and buckles. In addition, for the cape, there's 2 pair of buckles and 12 buttons.

Regarding the color of the silver; you are free to choose. Some find it best to keep it all in one color; others mix colors to "lively it up" a little.
